I pressed "CTRL" and another unknown key and now my entire pc's sound is super low.

Whilst playing World of Warcraft, I pressed down the CTRL key and another key (not sure what it was) and now it seems that every sound on my PC is that of a small mouse. I can barely hear anything. I've already run the troubleshooter, checked my devices, and restarted the sound software (found all this from google) but nothing is working. Please help!
