I need to prevent a driver from updating

PC with Windows 11 Pro 64 Bit.LAN driver is realtek PCI Family ControllerThe default Windows driver defaults to a 10 MB connection speed.Chosing a Realtek Driver (Select from drivers stored on your PC reveals several drivers all with the same name) seems to fix the problem, but with the next reboot the system reverts to the Microsoft driver. How can I install a driver so that it survives reboots as well as Windows update events?
