I need to access my WindowsApps folder that is stored on a external hardrive.

I have a 1TB SSD and it contains a WindowsApps folder. Using WinDirStat, I can see that the folder primarily contains 100GB worth of Sea Of Thieves data. I've already attempted to delete the app through settings, xbox, control panel, but to no avail. I've attempted to change ownership of the folder through properties>security>advanced> change, but once I click on 'change' I get the following prompt, "Can't open access control editor. Unable to perform a security operation on an object that has no associated security". My question is, how do I access this folder to delete most of the f
