I need help with my HP Envy x360

Hey.So I have had this computer for about 5-6 years, and randomly I turned on the computer and it kind of glitched and an error message came up saying that the stop code was “critical process died”. It said that the computer was going to restart and try to fix itself but it didn’t work. I tried multiple things, like an automatic repair, and ran internal tests. Nothing came up and nothing would work. A family friend said that windows 11 had somehow been removed, and to try and reinstall it. We went in the Microsoft store and tried to make a usb bootable to and to connect it to the envy laptop.
