I need admin access to uninstall mcafee and this is my personal computer. How do I get around this?

Error: "You need permission to perform this action. You need permission from Administrators to make changes to this folder."The reason for this is I can't download anything at all and based on others with this issue, it's due to McAfee. Every time I try to download it says "Couldn't download - Virus scan failed. " which is super frustrating when this is my computer.Even with this and trying to insert screenshots, It won't work. I got advice from another board to download something to remove it but again, it said "Couldn't download - Virus scan failed"
