I need a fresh install of windows 10 home. How do I save all the mails (windows mail) in the öld"windows 10 mail?

My old neighbours PC is already ten years old and very slow. It's windows 7 has been updated to windows 10. I think a fresh re-install of windows 10 would be worth to make it a bit less slower. I made a backup on a seperate usb-disk and now I'm wondering how to save the mails, wich he received during the past years etc ( he uses windows 1o mail). I can't find a method to export or sync them to eg a new version of outlook which I intend to install.
