I lost my son’s Microsoft account!

My son was playing Minecraft on his iPad. He wanted to add his cousin, but it asked him to sign in. It asked me for my Microsoft account, but then it signed me into my other son’s account. I logged out, but now we can’t get back into the original account that was being played on the iPad without ever being signed in. Is there a way to get back to his original account? The iPad app thinks it still on my other son’s account despite being signed out. Help!
