I like to know how the Hyper-V works

Hi Everyone, I tried to search for some information but the search result left me confused.I want to ask if the following can be done.A high-end Windows Desktop with Windows 11 installed. (HOST)I like to run Hyper-V to install Windows Server and Exchange (To save cost and it is deployed for a small number of users of 20.)The Hyper-V container will be installed with Server 2016 Std and run Exchange 2016. Can this be done?If this is in the wrong section, I am sorry and hope someone can help me out.Thank You So Much
