I keep getting a pop-up on bottom right every now and then

I keep getting this pop-up slide every few minutes - it's all about news - I can dismiss it by clicking on the x (close) tab on top right, Don't know how this started. I do have pop-up not allowed in setting. How do I get rid of it. Thanks
