i have windows home premium on my sony vaio using for years. I'm receiving a notice my windows is not original. what can I do?

Hi,I have a sony vaio laptop, its old but has been working fine for my needs,(8 years) Recently it says my win 7 is not original. I have the oem disc and actvation key can't get it accepted. What can I do?
