I have the correct time zone for my region but windows time for it is different than what it its

My time zone is (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) which now it is 8:25pm March 11.I selected (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) on windows but it puts the time as 1:24 am March 12 and its not???How do i fix this?
