I have Minecraft Bedrock on my Xbox Series X. Can I get it for free on my Laptop or do I have to buy it again?

I have read that you need game pass to download it without buying again. Does this work for both Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Core (which is like the new version of Xbox Live, right?)
