I have downloaded Microsoft 365 but can't find it in my Apps. I am trying to transfer to a new laptop.

I have a new laptop and trying to install Microsoft 365 subscription. I have downloaded Microsoft 365 but now can't find it in my Apps. When I open a document, it says it cannot open because there is no app associated and to install an association in the Default App Settings page. But when I go to the Default App page, it says it can't find the Microsoft 365 app.
