I have been stuck in the automatic repair loop for 3 weeks straight.

I have been stuck on the automatic repair loop for 3 straight weeks. I have tried every option besides resetting the system. I would do the reset and choose the keep personal files, but I dont have them backed up so if something goes wrong while resetting I may lose them. What is the best course of action?
