I have a new Dell Deesktop running Windows 11. I am trying to make a Recovery Drive but it will not do it.

I have a new Dell Desktop running Windows 11. I am trying to make a Recovery Drive but it will not do it. When I attempt it just says I need a drive with at least 32GB and everything on it will be deleted. When I tried to use I use the Microsoft suggestion that I uncheck "Back up system files to the recovery Drive" and click next it formated the drive but also created a partition. using the back arrow I tried with the box checked and got the same message that I needed a 32GB. I am using a 64GB USB flash drive and now have removed the partitions and it still will not work.
