I had a device on my account three months ago that has for some reason been removed from my account. how is this possible without my knowledge?

I have had a laptop for a roughly 3 years now and I have been monitoring its status in the find my device page, it had been stolen from me almost two years now. since then it went from no status change 1 year ago to location disable 6 months ago and 0% battery life and the at three months ago it had 20% life no location and today it is completely gone>>>
