I forgot my laptop's login pin, but when trying to change it with backup email,"Something goes wrong" and I cant change it.

I have tried multiple times along several days and restarts to reset my pin so I can simply use my laptop. Every time I press forgot pin, receive one-use code to change pin, but then Microsoft account window popups, asks me for registered email one-time use code, which I receive and subsequently enter, yet after asking if I'm sure I want to change pin and pressing continue, "Something goes wrong" and retry button doesnt work, leaving me just with an "skip" button which leads me to trying to login again. Please helpHP Pavilion recently bought.
