i downloaded msi afterburner and it is showing me a side by side cofig error

MSI Afterburner is refusing to run for me.The error it is giving me is as follows: "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxtrace.exe tool for more detail."I tried searching for this error online, and the only advice I could find didn't work (it was to install the latest version of Microsoft's Visual C++ runtimes).
