I can't open one folder with images in my USB drive , original file format is jpg but after copying to USB drive format changed in to .JPG.PFILE pls h

2 weeks ago I got my daughter's baptism function photos and my wife saved that photos in his mother's laptop and last week copied same folder into my USB drive 2 days before USB checked in my laptop the particular folder images I can't open command box showing you dont have permission to view this file and file format also changed in to .JPG.PFILEAnyone can explain what is the problem and how to solve this
