I cant log into my account through my settings

So recently my windows wouldn't let me sign in, I somehow got logged out on my settings page and when I try to log into my account it come up with a message saying "Oops something went wrong Whatever happened, it was probably our fault. Please try again." the only thread I found on this said that it should be fixed and is a temp issue relating to either my network or the Microsoft servers except its been an issue for a few months and it didnt matter to me until recently because I need an app from the Microsoft store.
