I can't install or run another OS on my laptop. Why?

I've created a bootable USB drive with the Androidx86 iso file. Whenever I tried to boot from the USB it gives an error regarding secure boot. So, I've tried disabling secure boot and the android installation menu appeared without a problem. Then I clicked on the button the leads to the installation of the OS. Then the screen blacked out, restarted the system to where I needed to put the recovery key for our drive because I've disabled secure boot. I've typed that whole a** long key and then the system rebooted into the windows without going to the android installation process. Please provide
