I can't click the corner of my screen whenever I get a notification card.

Whenever I get a notification card on my screen, I can't click anything in a large area around it (the estimated size of the non-clickable area is outlined in the image in red). It's been a hassle for ages now, preventing me from switching layers or clicking on menus or anything that just so happens to be in that corner of the screen, as I get hundreds of these notifications a day. Does anyone know of any way to fix this that isn't just disabling notifications entirely? I don't want to do that. I also don't want to move my taskbar somewhere else, because that'd just push the problem to a diffe
