I can't burn music cds in Windows 11

I just bought a Dell Inspiron 15-3530 and a Dell USB Slim DVD+/-RW DW316 so I could burn music cds, but the burner won't burn CDs. (I'm using the same music CD-R discs that I always used on my Windows 10 desktop.) I've tried using the Windows Media Player Legacy that came on my new laptop and the Power2Go software that came with the Dell burner. Neither will burn CDs.I just get this message: "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while burning the file to the disc."Dell says there is nothing wrong with my "hardware."Is there something wrong with my Windows 11?
