Background
Hello, all. This is my first post here, so I'm not very knowledgeable on formatting.
I'm at a company that uses a Windows Vista Pro 32 Bit machine as a file server for a shared Public drive. This is the computer I'm working on right now and it's been working pretty flawlessly since I've been here in 2014.
Recently our IT guy died and I'm having to pick up the pieces because he wasn't done training me when he passed away. He also didn't leave any notes or software for me, so it's been pretty annoying figuring out how everything is set up.
Problem
So the problem I'm encountering is that a few weeks ago, I stopped being able to communicate with the server computer (it's called DEV1, so I'll be referring to it like that for the rest of this) through the network. The other computers can still see DEV1 on the list of computers connected in the network, but if I try to access DEV1 it gives me the error of "Windows cannot access \\DEV1" (error code 0x80070035), as if it's not connected.
Now, this is almost certainly because I changed something (because I'm an idiot who didn't take notes -_-). I had to set up a new Win7 machine recently and the official drivers for our Konica printer only go to vista, so I had to improvise. And in doing so, I tried to set up printer sharing through this computer. Unfortunately, I must have changed a setting somewhere, and now I can't get to this computer through our network.
Also before you tell me it's the firewall, I've DEFINITELY ruled it out. I have no AV firewall on and Windows Firewall is off. I made sure of that because it's ALWAYS the first thing posted in threads like these.
Another thing I've verified is that they're both on the same workgroup.
A third thing I'd like to mention is that while yes, it's possible this is a router thing, I don't think it is. It was working fine before I messed around with the settings, and since nobody's messed with router settings since a few weeks ago, I'm almost positive it isn't the router.
I'm including a bunch of imgur links to relevant screenshots, but I'm expecting to not have all of the relevant information needed, so I'll provide more if anybody asks.
Screenshots
ipconfig on DEV1 (file sharing server computer)
ipconfig of Office2 (second computer connected to network for testing purposes)
pinging Office2 from DEV1
pinging DEV1 from Office2 (pinged both wireless and ethernet connections)
sharing and discovery settings on DEV1
firewall status on DEV1
If anybody knows anything about how to fix this issue, I'd be super grateful.
