I am using Microsoft outlook. When i open attachments in my email, it opens to a pdf. How do i change it to open to something different?

When i check my email. I open the email and click on the attachment, it opens it in a pdf. I don't want that, I want to open it to a full sheet. I don't know what the options are to open it in?Thank You for your help!
