I am stuck on unsupported mode on my monitor

So me and my friend were trying to see what the most hz my monitor can go to, we set the resolution to 480p and 120hz but I didnt notice that we did that on the "(recommended)" display and hz now i dont know how to change it back i tried starting windows in safe mode, it just stuck to the blue "unsupported mode" for my display and i think it might be because we unchecked (in custom resolution utility) all the boxes on the left, how would i fix this without having to factory reset or something like that P.S I also have a question about if you can use your phone as a monitor by just using a usb
