I am repeatedly getting a print spool stopped since the new Windows Update and my new printer won't work.

Purchased a new printer (actually this is my second new printer - returned the first as I thought it was a printer issue and have since determined it is a Windows 11 update issue). Epson ET-2850, prior was HP Smart Tank7002 (returned). The Epson is supposed to work through the Windows 11 printer drivers, but it does not. I get a print spooler stopped issue. Have tried multiple ways, including restarting the print spool, etc. Also tried using the Windows 11 Drivers provided by Epson, but Windows will not do a complete install and that install fails with a message that files are missing.
