So my computer was having some issues with the settings app disappearing after an update or two, but it fixed itself after I went back to a restore point (would not let me uninstall update the three ways I tried). But then it happened again, and the restore point wouldn't work, because it claimed my computer was write protected, but diskcheck on CMD said it was not set to read only. So I went and reinstalled windows to a completely fresh installation, and the wifi doesn't show up.
