I am having issues installing DirectX End-User Runtimes

Hi,I have an issue installing DirectX End-User Runtimes. A software package fails to install DirectX and reports the installation of DirectX has failed.I have tried installing dxwebsetup and directx_Jun2010_redist and they both fail to advise of "An internal system error occurred" and to refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log.Please advise on my next steps to get this working.Thanks
