Hi all,
This link refers to another forum that seems to be dealing with the same issue as mine. We were advised that I should open a trouble ticket. Here I am.
So, I have begun to notice that any email or URL that I add to the Notes section in my Contacts in Outlook 2010 has issues with adding extra tag info to the link.
So, if I add an email address (say info@someco.com), over time I will get: info@someco.com<mailto:info@someco.com<mailto:info@someco.cominfo.com<mailto:info@someco.com>>>
and when I add a URL (like www.someco.com) I get:
www.someco.com<http://www.someco.com<http://www.someco.com<http://www.someco.com>>>
Note, just like the previous forum, my assistant and I do have iOS devices using mobile activesync and my outlook info is synced across my two laptops using a hosted Exchange service. The other forum said it was an issue with iOS not recognizing formatting, and will strip it, then append it to the note.
I have tried multiple times to remove it and when I save and come back to it in a few days, I get the same problem.
I hear that you are all aware of this. I just wanted to say that it is very annoying. If anyone has a fix for this, I would be much appreciative.
Thanks in advance.
