Hyper V virtual machine creates new hardware ID every time it's restarted. How to prevent this from happening and make it static?

Hi All,I use hyper v to run one virtual machine. It's only running one piece of software which requires a license. The license is fixed to the hardware ID. Every time I shut down the VM and open it up again, the hardware ID resets, causing the software to not work as it's not registering the original hard ID it was registered to. Is there a way to prevent the hardware ID from changing and have it static?Thank you.
