Hi. My name is Robin I live in Sweden. I'm a tech manager.
We are deploying office 365 in a hybrid environment with Exchange 2013.
We are discovering OME newest update and have successfully tested on outlook online clients. Both within the organisation and out.
Our problem is that we have a server validating various updates, among them those for exchange server 2013.
We have discovered that desktop versions of Outlook do not have the latest upgrade and derfor not showing the new "encrypt" icon but the old "do not enter one"
Does anybody if this can be the reason why Outlook desktop is not showing the Encrypt icon and outlook online yes?
In that case. Do you know the name of the latest upgrade we should install on the exchange server to be able to have the latest version of office 365 desktop?
Right now we are using, according to the info window in outlook desktop,
version1808. Instead, should we be using have version 1904.
Please help us with this.
We want to solve this issue as soon as possible, before going live with office 365 for our users.
