Everytime I open my Interent Explorer, this runonce thing pops up. When you try to change the settings nothing happens, anyone know how to get rid of it ?

http://runonce.msn.com/runonce3.aspx, How do I get it to stop popping up everytime I open Internet Explorer ?

Internet Explorer 7 Opens "runonce2.aspx" or "runonce3.aspx"

The problem is in this registry key:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}\1.1\0\win32]

The default value should be: C:\Windows\System32\ieframe.dll

Create then merge this registry file to fix the problem:

1. Copy below and paste into Notepad.

----------copy-inside-only----------

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]

"RunOnceHasShown"=dword:00000001

"RunOnceComplete"=dword:00000001

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}\1.1]

@="Microsoft Internet Controls"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}\1.1\0]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}\1.1\0\win32]

@="C:\\Windows\\System32\\ieframe.dll"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}\1.1\FLAGS]

@="0"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}\1.1\HELPDIR]

@="C:\\Windows\\System32"

----------copy-inside-only----------

2. Save-as IE7_RunOunce_Fix.reg (or any name + .reg)

3. Double-click or right-click and merge into the registry.
