HP Victus 15 Black Screen on Startup

I just bought this brand new HP Victus 15 gaming laptop. I soon noticed that when restarting the laptop, the login screen is black. I can work around this problem by closing the screen and then opening it, which then brings up the login screen like its supposed to.I have tried a clean install of windows 11, updating all drivers and graphics cards, etc. I've tried updating BIOS. I've connected the screen to another monitor, which showed the login screen correctly. I've changed the power settings. Nothing has fixed the problem.
