How to view all files inside folders and subfolders in Details

Dear All,By Windows default, all files inside folders and subfolders are being viewed as Large Icons.Every time I enter a folder I must change view from large icons to details.I remember that there was a way (in Windows 7 or XP?) to set all the files inside folders to be viewed as details.Can you please help me how to do that?Thank you very much!
