Setting: Dell laptop (now Windows 11) with external monitor and wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse.It's a configuration many use, and it all worked well in Windows 10.Now in 11, we first encountered a problem getting the external monitor to display when closing the laptop lid. This was handled with changing power setting at "when I close the lid" to "do nothing"; We were enthused when after closing the lid the external monitor did indeed stay on.
