How to unsync laptop and pc desktops?

[Windows 10]

So I have 2 computers, 1 a pc the other a laptop both running windows 10 and they’re both linked to my Microsoft account. Note I want to keep this because it makes me feel like it’s still saving the data across the 2 pcs where ever I’m at. But continuing after I linked my accounts all my apps on the desktop of my pc went directly to my laptop only I can’t access them, not only that when ever I delete it from my laptop it deletes it from my pc how do i stop this? I tried turning off syncing but I want to keep the “accounts, WiFi networks and passwords” setting on across both but if I try leavin
