How to uninstall Windows update 24H2 on my new HP Elitebook and revert to 23H2?

The automatic update to 24H2 crashed Windows Hello and now it is stuck in a loop, even with rebooting. I need to uninstall the update and revert to the previous version, 23H2, which had been working.
