How to turn my camera on?

My camera won't even turn on. Usually I use face id to log in to my laptop but the white dot by my camera won't even appear. This doesn't work in my camera app either. I have tried resetting my camera, deleting the app, and restarting my computer. I tried using the self-fixing tool provided in settings but this didn't work either. When I open my camera app, it just sits there and loads. I have the camera on in accessibility and it has access to the apps that I want to use. I am at a loss here I just need my camera to work for school.
