How to trim Sound Recording in Windows 11

The available official Windows guide only works for Windows 10. I have clicked all the buttons and could not find the edit button on a recording. Also is there a way I can replace Sound Recorder with its Windows 10 version because it had much more advanced features (allowing you to shrink it further, having abstract indicator instead of annoying analog graph, actually allowing you to mark spots while it was not full screen, saving current recording when you x'd out without saving instead of simply deleting, etc).
