How to tell FOR SURE if windows 11 home is encrypted?

Hello, just got a new laptop with windows 11 home. I am overly anxious about losing data due to encryption. I understand that Windows 11 Home does not use bit locker, but rather Device Encryption. For the record, I do NOT want my device’s drive encrypted.I do not believe that it is- the drive does not have a lock symbol of any kind nor a warning symbol label as I have seen with encrypted drives, there is no device encryption setting in the security and privacy options, and searching encryption in settings yields only the microsoft defender Device security page- listing core isolation, securit
