How to retrieve a note from the Windows 'Notepad', that has been saved over?

I have been using the 'Notepad' on my Windows app for a while now. Each note gets saved in the 'Notepad' section of my drive. I recently needed to open one of my notes which had lots of information on, but I (without realising) saved over the top of my full notes page with a blank one. So now, my notes page is blank and when I re-open it, it stays blank as I saved over it with a blank note. If anyone knows how to retrieve a notes page that has been saved over, I would hugely appreciate it!
