How to resolve "WslRegisterDistribution failed with error: 0xc0000409"

I recently needed to install Windows Subsystem for Linux and followed instructions at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/installWhen I get to the step "wsl --install" I get an error. This is also true for any WSL distributions on the Microsoft Store.Installing, this may take a few minutes...
