How To Resolve Issue with Bluetooth Headsets on Windows 11

I have two pairs of bluetooth headsets, an older one which I figured I ought to replace and a new one I purchased for that purpose recently. When I connected my new headsets to my computer I noticed that while it worked just fine for playing audio, my device simply could not detect it as an input device (i.e. microphone) at all, nor could any of my installed apps detect its microphone either.
