How to remove alias as primary when alias has been deleted?

[Windows 11]

I have a microsoft account but an alias was added at some point and was then deleted. On my computer login settings, the alias shows under my user name with the original email showing in accounts but when I log into microsoft.com, only the original email is showing. The alias email is not able to be deleted in my settings account. The alias email creates a very annoying popup asking me to login but the account does not exist. How do I get the popup to stop and remove the alias email as primary on my computer account?
