How to merge the unallocated partition with Volume D (As shown in the attached screenshot)

Volume C and Volume D are partitions made on the same SSD drive. I shrunk Volume C into (unallocated space- 200 GB). It grants the option to 'extend space' for Volume C but not for Volume D even though the partition is spread across the SSD drive. Can someone help me figure out how to merge (unallocated space- 200 GB) with Volume D?
