How to mark days in the taskbar calendar that have events so that they stand out from others that don't?

It's hard for me to really explain it any further, like, just have it show with a different colour on that specific day so I don't need to click on it to know something is there.How do I do that, and if not possible, how do I replace the taskbar calendar entirely?
