How to make Task Manager show no processes, only basic applications

My task manager used to show only the basic apps I was running, such as chrome or steam. This made it easy to find the program I needed to force quit if issues were occurring. For some reason, my task manager now shows a bunch of computer processes. It is confusing and has made it so I cannot find the apps I need to force quit. Is there a way to make my task manager only show basic apps again?
