In Outlook 2013, the "Flag" column displays unflagged emails differently in the Single-Line layout & the Compact layout.
Problem
The single-line layout is hard to read as the red flag does not stand out from the grey ones. (I am colour blind & so the red colour isn't a strong enough visual signal).
Is there any way to either make unflagged emails show no flag (preferred) or change the colours used for flagged emails?
Example screenshots:
Single Line layout (Only the top email is flagged)
Compact Layout (the same emails as before are being shown):
P.S.
This issue was raised on the 2013-preview forum but the MVP that responded didn't seem to be aware of the different behaviour between the 2 layouts & so was confused.

- In the Compact layout, an unflagged email shows no flag image at all.
- In the Single-Line layout, an unflagged email shows a grey flag.
