I need help installing DirectX version 9 on my Windows 11 Home machine. I am currently running DirectX12 but my friends are suggesting to also install and use DIirectX Version 9. I checked my Microsoft technical support, but after performing troubleshooting steps like running commands in cmd for dism, sfc and ipconfig, manually updated my graphics card , made sure that Windows is up to date. I still can't manually install DirectX version 9.0 as it keeps on showing that a new version is already installed.
